Help with the Thunderpeaks PWD event. This is an excellent way for our troop to spread goodwill to cub packs and help raise awareness for us for recruiting. It’s also a lot of fun. Please RSVP to Richard Mouer so he knows how many people to expect. He can be reached at email@example.com. Work is divided into multiple shifts throughout the day, and there is usually a team dinner at a local restaurant after tear-down is complete.

Pack 619 has expressed an interest in our troop, and needs some volunteer help to run their pinewood derby. Location to be updated as soon as I get it.

We will be gathering at the church before the meeting to clean, organize, and inventory all the troop equipment and stow it safely in the shed at the church. Please wear your class B shirt, and clothes that can get dirty.
Just a reminder, I need to know who will be attending this class starting on 1/14/18. Please let me know if your Scout will or will not be attending this class. Our church youth group leaders have put this class together for all of our Scouts, as well as the youth group. This is a great opportunity to learn about our Scouting Duty to God and have some interaction with the church youth group.

This Saturday May 28th at 6:15AM Troop 619 will meet up near the Flag Pole at the:
National Memorial Cemetery Of Arizona
23029 N Cave Creek Rd.
Phoenix, AZ. 85024
(Entrance is off Pinnacle Peak Road just off Cave Creek)
Parking is difficult, so plan to arrive early and most will need to park along Pinnacle Peak Road and walk in, due to the number of Scouts from across the valley who attend.
The cemetery provides a limited number of pokers and all of the flags, each to be inserted by Scouts at the head of each grave.
This event usually goes quickly, as so many typically attend.
An email went out to everyone on May 23rd with a Sign Up Genius for a picnic immediately following the flag placing at Lookout Mountain Park.
This Saturday, December 12th will be our troop’s Christmas Party!
Where: Lookout Mountain Park
From Cave Creek Rd, head west on Sharon; north on 18th St which ends at the park.
Bring your own chairs!
An email has gone out from our Troop 619 email with out Sign-Up Sheet for what to bring. Contact Linda or Lisa with any questions.
Scouts bring your bike, skate board, ball, etc.
There will be a gift exchange for those who wish to participate with a value limit of $5. Gifts are typically something a scout can use camping or on other scouting skills.
